The fridge in our living box has proved its worth. With an additional drawer fridge, we can carry more provisions and quickly reach chilled food on the road.

A PRACTICAL ADDITION

A solution that works well can become even more useful.

We really like the fridge in the rear living box: it is practical, and everything is easy to reach. The additional drawer fridge gives us more room for provisions, including frozen food.

The new unit can be set to chill or freeze, depending on what we need. In summer, chilled items are close at hand while we are driving – especially useful in a traffic jam.

FROM DRAWING TO INSTALLATION

From a technical drawing to a precise fit.

First, we drew the installation and planned the measurements and cut-outs. We used suitable offcuts of 18 mm beech multiplex for the housing. The CNC router then milled the components from the wood; we adjusted and assembled them afterwards. The new drawer fridge sits beneath the seat in the Unimog's double cab, with the drawer opening into the cabin.
